Notes:

1. Once candidates in the shortlist (https://admissions.xmu.edu.cn/info/1061/4270.htm) fail to arrive at XMU and complete registration procedures, those in the waitlist will fill the vacancies in the order above.

2. Wait-list Scholarships nominees who fill the vacancies in the shortlist are allowed to begin their study first and pay tuition fee after they receive the scholarship around the end of the year. Any nominee who fails to be finally approved as a scholarship awardee shall have to pay tuition fee as a self-supporting student. In case of dropping out of university, they should also need to pay all the fees required according to relavant regulations.

3. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year. Awarded students are required to participate in the annual evaluation as stipulated. Those who pass the evaluation can reapply for the scholarship in the following year. Our university will select outstanding candidates from the awardees to recommend for the scholarship in the next academic year. 

4. Registration dates: Sept. 1st, 2026. For detailed registration procedures, please refer to the Enrolment Instructions and pay close attention to the latest information on the University's portal (http://welcome.xmu.edu.cn).
