On 15th of December of 2018, Xiamen University Alumni Association of India is established in New Delhi.
Dr. Ketan Anant, the organizer of the association and one of the alumni of the 2006 batch in the MBBS program of Medical College of Xiamen University talked about the process of preparing and contacting the other alumni. He expressed that the next step to form a first ideal alumni council will be under the guidance of the General Alumni Association of Xiamen University, he also hope that leaders and teachers of the school with the other alumni are able to gather at one place to witness and share the joyful moments in the future.
The greeting videos from the college leaders, professors as well as the management team were played in the meeting.
During the meeting, the research on career tracking, alumni interaction and other activities were conducted to deepen the understanding among the Indian alumni.
The alumni representatives of the meeting, such as Dr. Ankur Arya from 2012 batch and Dr. Atul Jain have said that they will continue to strengthen their alumni association and communication of related departments in the future. They also said that they would be proactive in advertising the university around India and also contribute to the construction and development of various undertakings of their Alma Mater, Xiamen University.
